Her journey in the arts began at age eight with Moving in the Spirit, where she trained in African dance and Horton technique. She later became a member of Atlanta’s Performing Arts Program for Youth (PAPY) under the direction of Hilda Willis and continued her dance education at Carver School of the Arts. Her training has since expanded through programs including the Anthony Burrell Center for Dance and Element Circus Troupe. Throughout her career, Camara has worked across stage, television, film, commercial dance, circus, and modeling, building a diverse body of experience as both a performer and movement artist. Her credits include Madea’s Homecoming, Step Up: High Water, The Quad, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and Bolden, along with live performances as an aerialist, fire performer, dancer, skater, and stilt walker. Her circus background began through In-Flight Gymnastics & Circus, where she also spent six years coaching young girls in gymnastics and circus arts. Her performance experience includes work with Element Circus Troupe as an aerialist, fire performer, and stilt walker, as well as commercial dance opportunities alongside major artists and productions. Camara's relationship with the arts has continued to evolve alongside her personal and professional growth. After stepping away from the spotlight for a season, she is returning to the creative space with a renewed perspective—taking her time, following what feels authentic, and allowing her artistry to grow at its own pace. Today, she continues to accept opportunities in circus, dance, acting, modeling, and creative performance, particularly projects that allow her to move, tell stories, collaborate, and connect with audiences in meaningful ways. Outside of performing, Camara is passionate about education, mentorship, service, and giving back to her community. She has joined and volunteered with organizations including Playmaking for Girls, Global Paint for Charity, Inc., NABA, Inc., The Pajama Program, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Her commitment to service has become an increasingly important part of her identity as she continues to explore how her creativity, education, and platform can be used to positively impact others. In 2026, Camara graduated from Jackson State University with a degree in Accounting and is continuing her education at Jackson State as a graduate student while preparing for the next chapter of her professional career a s both an artist and lifelong learner, Camara is embracing a new season—one where creativity, service, education, and purpose can coexist.
